So, i'm too cheap to buy songs. Who isn't.
Anyways, I have a shitload of songs in Windows Media Player and i'd like them into Itunes, so I could have them on my Ipod.
I did this once successfully, of course it formatted the old songs off, no big deal. That was when I first installed Itunes (I bought the Ipod with shitty music on it).
Now I can't seem to load the music onto Itunes that has been downloaded since the one time I loaded the first list. I've gone into Itunes and tried to find my folder as a file, and I can't get anything under playlists.
I thought it automatically searches for new music on your computer when it is booted? I also tried reinstalling with no luck. I know this is possible, because I know a few people who do it.
Any ideas? Rep for whoever haaaaaalps.

Go to where all your music is, drag+drop into iTunes music library.

Huh? File where, Itunes or WMP?

I'll try that now, but I think I tried that to no success..

I believe I got it now.. I was looking under playlists to add a folder, and for some reason it wasn't showing anything. I looked under the downloader I use, and still nothing. I searched for files, and under the downloader was my list. Thank you gentleman, I'll spread as much rape as I can.

I hate iTunes for this reason. Will never use it.
That and I have too much music... it loads slow and is a resource hog.

I have an ipod and use media monkey now:biggerGrin:
Only way I'd ever own an Ipod is if it had Rockbox or other software on it to run FLAC & drag and drop.
A FLAC-capable 500GB Touch would be interesting...

IIRC it's possible for the iPod to function as a HDD. I know for certain I have thrown various .docs and other shit on it before. I'm not quite sure how it works though and haven't bothered with it in a long time

Interesting indeed...
The Ipod was a trade - I deadened some front doors for it. They bought the product and everything
