Have you all ever purchased an extended warranty? If so Through who and how much. Or if you know of a good one. I bought one before, but barely used it and dont remember who it was. It was like $2500. Way more than the GM one. So let me now!

Like when I bought my truck I had to get a 24K mile power train warranty or the bank said no deal?

I did once. For my washer and dryer. Through the manufacturer for about 30 bucks.
Hope this helps!

See, when I bought the cadi, I had the option. I just wrapped it into the loan though. Had I waited, I could have spent $1400 less.

bro, it wasn't a joke bro. I was being cereal like trix.
The only real issue the E-150 ever had was fixed under warranty, was a fuel pump TSB that they had with both the 2nd and 3rd generation ones...but that was back in '96 or so.

I did on my HHR when I got it. It only works out to about $10 more/month for 5year/60k as opposed to the 3 year/36k...a few months later they started offering 10yr/100k:fuckoff:

If you are buying used I would try and negotiate the extended warranty into the deal for free. From what I understand the dealerships use this as a huge money maker and costs them next to nothing so it is one of the easier things to bundle into a deal.
I did not get one on my car as it was new and had a 60 powertrain warranty which is mostly what I worry about, thankfully I never had to have it in for anything aside from a faulty cabin filter.

Cars don't have cabins, silly.

That's one hell of a troll if I've ever seen one.

I have not ever purchased one. I bought my truck new, and though I had several problems with it, they were all resolved within the first 2 years by the usual warranty. My situation is a little bit different, though, as I've only put 40,000 km (about 25,000 miles) on it in almost 5.5 years.

See, Im buying used, I believe the car has 40k on it already and I dont think the lifetime warranty applies to these dodges.

i kind of had to get extended warranty when i bought my civic. it was somewhere around 600 i think. i don't remember much anymore but if i remember clearly tampering on the engine with any modifications towards the engine or tranny will void it. i'm not sure if my alt upgrade voided it or not. either way, i'm pretty close to my 80k mark so it's going to void out within the year.

I believe they extended it to some '07 models if they were bought in '08.

See honda offers an extended warranty to 100K
And also a certified warranty when you buy a used car.
Great option IMO.
We also sell this POS Mastertech warranty that the finance manager tells the customer it cover everything which is bullshit.
Then the customer gets mad at us (service department) when we tell them it doesnt cover their brakes.
