VPX Zero Impact Protein is very high quality, but you'll pay for it.

If you venture to a different Protein, look for something with a mixture of proteins such as Whey Protein Isolate, WP Hydrolysate, Casein, Egg, etc. Whey is absorbed the quickest, casein is absorbed at a medium rate, and egg lasts the longest.

Stay away from concentrates if you can (they aren't bad, but I am not a fan).

Milk Protein is typically a mixture of Whey & Casein

I haven't used but heard nothing but good reviews about Black Star Labs XF and American Whey.

Start off just buying a small amount(1 or 2 lbs.) to sample it. I'd personally stay with a basic flavor like choc. or vanilla, and if you want to switch it up, blend some fresh fruit in with the choc. or vanilla to make whatever flavor you like. That way you can change it up all the time and not get tired of one "specialty" flavour.
