DD earbuds

Anyone used them yet, guy on CA has a pair for $60 bucks and I just rolled my chair over my computer headphones :(

I did check the headphone suggestions thread here but was :inout: once I saw people talking about $500 earbuds :laugh:

I just use them for watching TV and listening to jams while my wife is sleeping so quality if not a big deal but I would like a little bass to them and obviously want better quality than what a typically $10 pair of KOSS earbuds from Kmart are going to give me.

I also heard of skull candy before which were supposedly good but do not know anyone that actually used them before.

I haven't personally used them, so kinda just replying so I can see replies. If bass is your goal, I had the monster turbines for awhile, actually not too bad for bass.

Interesting, those seem to get some good reviews. Typically I shy away from Monster stuff due to having some quality control issues with them in the past.

Those are at the top of my price range (absolute top without getting 'the talk' from my wife :laugh:

If I have to I will go with a big headphone set but earbuds would be idea for my setup.

I just bought a st of these for $30, much better than my wife's Skullcandy. I find the cord could be about 6" longer though. If I put my mp3 player in my pant pocket that is about as far as the cord reaches. They come with 3 silicone plus one memory foam ear pieces and if you get a good fit have fairly impressive bass and don't fall out.

Interesting, I would much rather spend $30 if I could I may just give them a shot. If they are not what I want I can just use them until I accidentally roll my chair over those :laugh:

That is my biggest issue I would be pissed breaking a set of $30 earbuds but would probably punch myself in the fact if I did it to a $150 pair :laugh:

I still want a 9512 someday, I generally think most companies are best at producing what their main type of product is and a lot of times when they try to branch out it usually does not give that great of results.

I saw the ones on CA for $60 and figured they may be worth it just to try but the JVC's seem more appealing at this point because of price and the fact that no ones grubby ears have been all over a new set.

A friend of mine has the Senn HD205's, and they have great quality, IMO. I'm probably going to buy them as soon as I get the cash.

I ordered the JVC's because I found them on amazon for $22 shipped and I can spend a buck or two shipping them back if they suck but from the reviews here and there being good they should be all I need.

Your logic is flawed. If he's asking for a lower-end head phone, or commenting on a "lower-end" head phone, why do I have to listen to $300+ dollar head phones when the budget was clearly <$120.
I said the Senns HD205's were good, they're $80 bucks. Which are $20 bucks more than the DD head phones, which I've never used. I said I enjoyed listening to them, and since they're in his price range, I figured I'd say something.

I'm torn between the DD head phones and the Senns HD205's. I like the in-ear head phones because of their portability and not really feeling them too much. Over-ear headphones have a tendency to slide off and fall off when running, or even walking.

They're like $60 bucks wherever I see them. I think $80 new. You might be able to order straight from DD. I believe their price is $60. But I'm not sure. Call and check.
