Yeah... a friend of mine was making brinner (Breakfast for dinner) and gave me real maple syrup. First time tasting it. It was good, but not worth it, IMO.

How is the maple syrup market up there? I can walk out to my back yard and probably find some syrup dripping I remember getting it all over my hands camping which is why I don't understand why it cost so much..

i like the real kind then I am working on a recipe of ice cream that tastes like waffles and the syrup is heated to make it glassy then blown into balls and churned in. This recipe will most likely make the ice cream price super high and never go into production.
