My wife borrowed some training videos from someone at work and I want to make a copy but have never copied from a DVD to a DVD (or even avi if I have to) so I am not sure what to use.
I tried downloading nero but I can't find a working key so I am wondering if there is another program that can do it..
I looked through ConvertXtoDVD, burnatonce that I already have but neither seem to offer this.
Reps for anyone that can help

img burn? I like that program I use it a lot but for dvd to dvd I just drop it in my 1-10 target tower and it does it itself unless it needs copy protection and shrinkage.

imgburn is a very good very simple program. freeware that rocks. once you learn it it can do tons of stuff. I sometimes used to make an image with another program but would burn with imgburn because of its great ability to write a certain way for a certain type of drive on a certain type of disc. With imgburn you can burn a dvd-r and make it work on dvd player from the mid to late 90s. I burn cds and dvds as a side business for friends (non copyrighted of course) and have burned a ton a few hundred thousand and imgburn just worked the best for me.

Ahh ok I will check that out as well. Like I said I have never needed one before and I have no clue why the fuck they don't just make the programs so they can do all the shit you would ever need for audio/video copying.

IMGburn is the best.
Create an image of the disc, burn disc to image.
All free-ware...

Problem is with the freeware route is then you need shrink or some other type of similar program to remove menus and compress on some titles.
I bought Clone DVD and AnyDVD for little money and it does it simply in a couple clicks. It will even do disc to disc DVD re-authoring. Worth the money imo to get one program to do it simply.

Yo, dawg. I heard you liked DVDs. So I put a DVD on a DVD so you can watch yo' DVD WHILE YOU WATCH YO' DVD!

Yes, but that post was to enlighten anyone else like the OP who may not be aware. I would hope you know the limitations of the software you are using personally;)
imgburn is a great ISO creator and burner though. I use it as well for many functions. DVD re-authoring just isn't one of them.

DVD Shrink is what I always use. I like it cuz you can take out all the subtitles and diffrent languges you dont know like French (*cough gay cough*), spanish, and polish.

It is true that the Slysoft offerings are the only ones worth paying for. I forked over the dough for AnyDVD HD and it has been worth every penny.
