Well glad that 7billion we gave them did not go to waste. They were the ones I was hoping would not get bailed out due to the fact they make shit.

Aside from the Viper and Ram (which are still made like shit but at least look tight) they were not worth a shit anyways.. 300 helped them slump along for a few years but only delayed the inevitable.

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- Chrysler LLC will close down 789 dealerships, or roughly 25% of the current number, according to a plan filed in bankruptcy court Thursday.

"With regret, this letter is to inform you that on May 14th, 2009, we are filing a motion in bankruptcy court rejecting the Sales and Service Agreement(s) between Chrysler Motors LLC and the dealership listed above," Chrysler said in letters sent to the dealereships. "Upon approval from the court, your agreement will be rejected on or about June 9, 2009."

I like a lot of the Chrysler/Dodge lineup. Viper and Ram of course, but the SRT cars are nice. I know they don't have the best quality but I think the performance(straight line) is pretty good for what they are. I would never buy one but I think they are cool. I think thats how a lot of other people feel too. Cool concepts but there is better to be had as far as reliability and quality.

:hilarious:

It was a matter of time, making the PT Cruiser and the Pacifica.....wtf. When Mercedes actually decided to lose money and bail on them I knew what time it was.

I agree. You can't keep pumping out crap cars and expect to stay alive long in this cut throat market.

I actually own an 04 SRT-4 It's been very reliable (knock on wood). It was hard to believe I was buying a neon but I just couldn't pass up the bang for the buck.

Now we'll see how many dealerships GM is going to close. Hold on to your hats.

the only thing from them I remotely like are the boosted neons, but even those fail cause there power windows in front and manual windows in the rear!

lol, i like both of those.

bones: funny, i worked at a jeep dealer, have been in a few srt4's and had fun "test driving" them, so much so that i never noticed the window issue. what the fuck? honestly now.

They're taking down 9 by where I live. 6 in Portland, OR, 2 in Vancouver, and 1 up in Longview, according to the news.
