As title says, looking for something that burns .avi's well. I used to use Nero 7, and it works... but it takes something like 6 hours to burn it at 32x speed. It converts and burns. Any thing else that burns DVDs quicker?

to convert to a ts? I always like convertx but it is not free. It worked a lot of times that I had camera footage that needed to be converted so it could play on even old dvd players. I did not like the burning utility it had I would burn with imgburn after conversion. What are you burning? remember to use TY brand discs for less errors and long lasting discs. and burn slow if you ever want to make good copies of copies. I burn at 1-4x for the first disc then error check and if that worked 16x on cds or 8x on dvds. I get reject rates at less then 1% on the duplicates that way, but way more on chinese made discs.

I use convertxtodvd3 takes about 40 minutes to convert it and burn.

Is the quality good? When I used Nero 7, the quality was perfect.
Eh, why am I even asking? I'll just try it out. Haha. Thanks.

a lot depends on the power of your computer...

what vids are you wanting to convert??? are you converting files that you want to play on a dvd player??? if your dvd player is divx certified i can lead you to a great free app that'll convert to divx...
