I dunno if there is a way to do it or not but I have a headset I use for watching movies and playing games which plugs into the back of my PC. The problem is when I don't want to use the headset I have to unplug it to get the speakers to work which is a PITA due to the location of my PC.
I would even be willing to buy a cheap sound card if I had to but would obviously prefer to do it with what I already have.

How silly you are to ask the Internet something like that. Don't you realize that Al Gore invented me? I'm perfect.

Same. Mine has a sort of "volume remote" thing where I can also mess with the sub level, fader, and center. It has a head phone jack right on it. Pretty convenient for that late night pr0n session.

Mine has this, but no jack for the mic for my to cyber with. The PC was down in the corner and I totally forgot about the jack on the front of it from when I built it as I was strictly into phone sex and had no need for a mic then.

You could just get a simple 3.5mm jack extender and run it up to your speakers and have it right next to your speakers.
