With Hinder and Saving Abel opening. Should be a kick ass show. Was a present from my Best man, who also happens to be living with us while he gets his divorce shit in order.

Your best man is going through a divorce? That's a little odd.

I had the chance to work a Nickelback show at the Amphithearer. My did and he said it was a shitty show.

Just worked The Sounds/Paramore/No Doubt the other night and No Doubt was ok, but the other bands really suck.

All good though, I get to see Aerosmith and ZZ Top pretty soon here.

I don't do very well in large crowds. People start dying.

Heh, it ain't all bad for him. He's already got another chicky poo lined up. His ex wife is a total slut bitch though, that I would be happy to slap multiple times if I ever see her again. Cheated on his ass for a year, told all his/her friends about it, one of them finally spoke up and told him. Needless to say, it was over before she could say WTF!?!?!?

He just got a 16K bonus from work, is paying off his cars, credit cards, etc. He'll be fine. He's been my brosef since before HS.

If she cheated on him then why is he the one that moved out? Her hass should have been thrown to the curb.

Because they were living with her parents, yo. He made some shitty decisions. As in 1200 bucks a month for 2 cars, instead of their own place. Shit like that. So he had to move out. Would you want to live with in-laws that were telling your ex to go be with this other guy instead of you? They knew about it too and didn't say jack shit. Those fucking in bred jed hillbilly's up there need to be exterminated.

TBH, he never should have married the bitch in the first place. The only reason he did so was because he was lonely. He is paying his dues now, though, and has learned a rather large and painful lesson.

Living with in-laws at THEIR place is WTF.

Yeah, like I said, he made some really poor decisions and is now paying for it. I can't rag on the guy too much, he's in a pretty fucked up mess ATM.

Yeah, 1200 bucks for a Chrysler and a mercury Mountaineer. Dumb, dumb, dumb.

06-04-2009, 02:16 PM
Well, he's doing much better now. The bitch gets to keep the car, so that's her problem now. He's selling the Mountaineer, to get out from under that. The cards are paid off, the papers are filed. Although this state has a 90 day waiting period for the Big D in case you change your mind, and he's got like 60 days to go. So for now, it's just legal separation. He's having the final papers drawn up next week while she's still willing to agree to most shit and not be a cunt about it. Then after the 60 days, his lawyer will file them and it's over.

Lucky. Had to wait 6 months and 1 day down here. But I filed for a dissolution, not a divorce.

Ah. And what, pray tell, is the difference? I know what dissolution means, but not sure about the legal ramifications when applied to marriage.

Dissolutions are simple with less fees and less paperwork. They can be filed if you're married for less than 5 years, have no kids, and no other bullshit to fight over. In my situation it was easy. She said she wanted to go, I said, give me the ring and get the fuck on then. There was no dispute over the fact that she got nossing.

There are some serious music snobs ITF.

Nickelback put on a hell of a show here when I saw them about 2 years ago.

Have saw Hinder twice and they are meh.

Saving Abel just fucking sucks. And they originated close to here, about 30 minutes from my hometown.

Since I'm getting married in a month and a half, this is a moot point. However, I will be bringing my camera, and nothing says I can't look.

No shit, I was thinking $600/mo for each car they are probably rolling in a couple new caddys or some other pimp shit... then I read :(

Surprised it was so easy, also that you got the ring back I don't think I would want it.

Surprised how?

The ring is a reward for honoring a contract. Contract gets broken and ring is returned. I wanted it back so I could go get a refund and then remodel my kitchen (now that I actually use it). Where I shop for jewelry they give you a guarantee worth of what you purchase that increases over time due to value. You can bring it back in for cash or upgrades at any time. Kinda like an exchange.

Ah, yes. My jeweler does that too. However, I thought you sold the house and moved into a new one?

Dunno I guess I would rather just get it over with. In fact I think rather than dealing with a long drawn out divorce over a year or more I would rather just cut the bitch a check for 50% or even 60% just to be done with it.

You mad trippin son. Nothing was done during that time frame. By law the paperwork has to sit on the judge's desk for that amount of time out here in case anyone changes their mind. If I was going to cut her a 50% check, I was going to send 50% of the debt with her ass as well. She'd have been fucked.

Tickets were free, so even if you all are right and it does suck, it costs me nothing more than time. I will post my experience here after it is over and tell you if you were wrong or right.
