Tail of the Dragon

I'll be going with a group up to the Tail of the Dragon this Friday:):):):):):)

anybody done this ride? any tips?

Couple things actually. Make sure your license plates are in legal locations (not sideways and such). First ride through take it slow, it is windy as hell. Don't speed, cops just live in that place.

This friday...were leaving at 7:30A.M. be there...

it looks like it will be, this will be my first run :)

Like I said take it slow through and if you feel good run it again a bit quicker. It is a great time.

A friend of mine did this and actually got pictures taken, there is some dude that sits there all day taking pics and you can go on his site and get them if you want a copy.

I emailed my bud to see if I can find the guys name, he takes some pretty sweet looking pics.

There is not a single one of his photos where he is holding the camera level... I cannot stand pictures taken at an angle, expecially when people think it adds an artistic flair...

kinda all on hills though and they are angled etc.
