Found these on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/9006-Xenon-HID-Headlight-Bulb-SATURN-SL2-92-97-98-99-00_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZ65Q3a15Q7c66Q3a2Q7c39Q3a1Q7c240Q3a1318Q7c301Q3a1Q7c293Q3a1Q7c294Q3a50QQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem4146875102QQitemZ280356147458QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories
seeing as how the stock headlights on my 92 sl2 are complete garbage, i wondered if it might be worth spending a couple bucks on these. any opinions?

They're just bulbs... if you want HID power, get a HID kit not just bulbs... my experience with those is that they are annoying and ricery, and don't make much of a positive difference. Your experience may differ though.
If you are looking for more visibility, I have had Sylvania bulbs on my previous car and noticed a bit of a difference. Sylvania bulbs seem to get a lot of positive reviews.

They should give you 25+ HP.

Seriously though the Silverstars and PIAA are both pretty good. I had a noticable difference in light when I switched to my PIAA set I have now.
If your lamps are foggy though nothing will help except getting a new set of doing that sanding method that's out there to get them clear again.

Save yourself some dough and just get these. It's like HID without the HID ballast. They have a mellow blue color, and the difference between these and standard halogens are like night and day. I picked mine up for 40 bucks from the local Schuck's. May be Checker's or Kragen? out where you live.

Yeah if you are not getting flashed you are probably good. Usually seems to be an issue on cars that also have a 18" wing and APC stickers on the windshield.

Its from all the downforce from the wing... The added downforce pushes the rear down and points the lights up. It is a bad trade off, btu well worth the performance that the wing adds...
Those people dont understand that you have to point your car at a wall while doing about 60 mph and then get out and aim your headlights...

It take AT LEAST an 18 incher to get downforce on those fwd cars.

I love my 5k hid kit for my civic. Though I also retro fitted my headlights with a set of TSX projectors. I'm at the point where I can't stand being in a car with halogen lights and no projectors. There is a HUGE difference in visibility. If your gonna get hids shed the cash and do that shit right

thanks i'll take a look at those. i don't feel the need for one of the real xenon kits, considering my car is garbage anyways, just looking for a little improvement over the stock lights.
