So I was just reading that steve jobs got a new liver. I was telling my boss this and we were discussing how important he is to the company compared to the amount of response that is given (through stock) when he left (over 6% decline in stock value).

So I replied back with "Man I hope he got an Apple liver put in, that way he isn't susceptible to virus".

Funniest thing I'll say today (nerd joke)

I feel ya. Its actually what caused the discussion. My boss's daughter HAD to have a mac book pro for college. I showed him a 4X more powerful laptop that came with literally everything extra (24" monitor external keyboard mouse, docking station, wifi printer, 3 years in home warranty, case, all kinds of shit) and it was 200 less than the 2900 he paid for the mac pro.

Was just a joke about how much marketing plays into it rather than actual value. He agreed but she wouldn't listen. The quality manager is an appoi and was all going over how Mac's never lose speed while Pc's slow down over time etc etc....
