Alright, lets get really high tech here!

So I have security cameras that I purchased from China direct. The software that comes with it actually good and handles my recording of the camera's etc. What I need is something that will stream it through the house to any pc we happen to be at. My wife is home all day so I want her to be able to go someplace on the laptop and see it.

So orb would be GREAT! But I can't see that working. Any ideas?

I use(d) Pico 2000 very old school but had it setup on a dedicated older box and just used VNC to dial into it and view the cameras. At high resolution it still loaded pretty good with no lag due to it being on the local connection.

Mine is just so my wife can watch the cats while we are on vacation, not a 24/7 thing..

The novelty of them wore off after a few weeks now I just put them up when we go away.

I imagine it would be a pretty grim vacation if fluffy chewed on a power cord and died the day we left and had to sit looking at the charred remains the rest of the trip :laugh:
