So I just finished installing the new 1.5's and thought that since I had everything in there (including me) I'd get a few pics of it. yeah, its a bit cluttered, but you get the idea.

Oh, and yes those are blankets on the windows LOL....I put them over the shades until my wife can make some solid black curtains. Heat is my enemy and there are 3 windows in this room. So the plus is that this is a split level house so this room is technically underground by about 4 feet but the windows bring in tons of sunlight.

I may turn on the google appliance and run it on that. I believe it has either 8 or 16gigs of RAM and 2 dual core procs on it. I really haven't messed with the thing in a very long time.

If you can handle all that gear, there is no reason you can't tame your Wii ;)
It is after all a lower form of those with a linux core.

Do you like that on-wall CD player with the onwall speakers? I was thinking about putting one in my dining room.

All machines you use or just oldies still laying around? I have a bunch laying around most have been raped of something here or there though.
I should probably put them back together and see if I can get anything for them.. I would imagine even a Celeron 2.8 is still worth $75 bucks with basic HD and memory.

Sound wise, I do like it. The sliding doors broke 2 years ago and I have to open the right by hand. This is an older unit so I"m sure they have made changes.

Stuff on the desk is all just spare parts in case someone needs something or I have to put together a pc for someone. The silver rack is actually all operational systems. The disk array does some pretty neat things :sneaky: The black case is my media server and stores the data for my outdoor camera's. Bottom two cases are servers (left one is the internal server that has no net access/right is my WHS) Of course the gb switch and a spare wireless router then the other box is a RAID portable that stores images.
Yeah, you can pick up some cash for lower end pc's. Normally not going to go that high though. I would think 25-50 for what you mentioned. Just because 75 relates to 100 and for 150 more you get a new netbook. If that makes any sense.

What's up with all the '90's computer cases and the old ass tube monitor...?

No, but i'll walk in and check (in reality you won't even notice this has happened but i'm going to have to get up and check)
so i spot an amp and an eq in there?
yes, Tru 4.65 and a RF symmetry with the 28 band EQ...also under the old ass monitor is a audiocontrol something or another.
Oh and IDskot, some old stuff because I get it for free from people and use it to build for people for free as well. The CRT is because I don't actually turn that on normally....everything is just remoted into. Why spend anything for something the almost is never used.

well if you're so damn smart, recommend me a PC for $1500 or less!
I enjoy fast speeds and good graphics, while retaining battery life. ;)

You say PC but I think you mean laptop. 1,500 is a very good budget. I can help you with this.

ha ha ha....gonna have to say no on that one :P Told ya that I have lots of audio stuff though ;) Should take a pic of the audio pile.

Wow ITT.
So what do you have up to give away/trade?
pl8er
07-06-2009, 01:22 PM
Kinda hard to explain my give away/trade thing. I don't just let people say "give me stuff" when someone mentions something and I feel like it may help them out to give it, I usually do. I have enough stuff to make 4 or 5 computers right now (minus power supplies)

Tis true, I wouldn't give up that amp for anything! Well maybe a mac ;)
Haha, I gave up my two 2.100's and regret it a little...
I used one, and loved it. The other was BNIB and I held it for about 6 years ago before I finally let it go...
