Why has my nose been bleeding?

My nose has been bleeding on and off the past few weeks and I am not sure if I should be worried or if it's possibly because it has been so cold.

My BP is good I actually went to the doc today to get yearly blood I believe it was something like 116/70 or so. At least I think that's good.
