Is he intending on un-retiring... again...

God I hope not... He just needs to leave the NFL FOREVER... He is a whiny crybaby, and he is unwelcome...

From Bill Simmons:

Things I'd rather do over getting treated to another Vick/Favre news update, Vol. 79: plunge Tony Siragusa's backed up toilet

Things I'd rather do over enduring another Vick/Favre news update, Vol. 80: watch a 2-hr Danny DeVito/Rhea Perlman sex tape.

I agree with that... Retire with the little dignity you already had.

Your first retirement, you were a bit of a winer, but could throw a football pretty damn well...

Your second retirement, really? again? You are pretty good, but far from your peak, do you really want to do this?

Your second re-entering the game, really? You again? Why are you still on the news? I mean a DUI/rape charge would be expected, but you are playing again? Give it up old man... You and Jake delhomme should have given it up together, why is he still here too...

I've seen inside his house. He has a couple fans. They are not on remote controls though...

Despite a report that Brett Favre would make a decision about whether to play for the Vikings by Friday, the team continues to wait for the quarterback to make up his mind.

Cook's agent, Bus Cook, told ESPN that he had a long conversation with the retired quarterback on Friday morning and that Favre doesn't feel ready yet and that there are some things that he is still considering. Cook said he expects Favre to make a decision by the beginning or middle of next week "if not sooner."

That would indicate that Favre will deliver on his promise of having an answer by next Thursday, a day before the Vikings open training camp practices. Both Favre and Childress have indicated the quarterback needs to be at training camp.

Favre, who had surgery to repair the biceps in his throwing arm in May, has been throwing to receivers at a high school in Hattiesburg, Miss., this summer and by all accounts the procedure was a success. Favre's main issue now is whether he can make it through the grind of a 16-game season.

The ESPN report said that Favre stayed away from throwing at Oak Grove High this week because of the number of cameras that were showing up. This was after Favre recently told the Associated Press he had increased his workouts at the school to four times a week because "he's running out of time" to make a decision.

brett = fail

Brett is a deliberate, thoughtful man.

if i was in his shoes, i would want to think this very important decision through. no need to make a hasty decision.

Brett is a deliberate, thoughtful man.

If this were true, he would have retired once and only once...

He obviously has poor representation. Stay retired old man.

Not sure why everyone always blames Bus. It seems to me like he has represented a lot of players without a lot of the bullshit you see from other players. If you represent pro atheletes there are going to be some
that show their asses from time to time.

I think this is much more likely to Farve's doings, and Bus will just get the deal done, if and when Farve decides to play.
