Is there an easy way to make PR rice? I dated one for a while her mother would make some bomb PR rice with garbanzo beans and chicken (on the bone kind)
None of the store packaged shit is very good and I no longer live in an area with a lot of PR's just blacks so we have a fried chicken joint on every corner.

its not too hard to make rice... we make this seasoning sauce called sofrito and its the base to most food. for rice with garbanzos or gandules or any other type of colored rice it is a must.

it's not all in the cookware you use, though actually some of it can be depending on what you are making. though it's like you can cook up one of his recipes and think it taste great and what-not, but it may not really be what it is really supposed to taste like. ya know? kinda like you making a mixed liqour drink your self and it tasting weird but you have the same drink at a bar and it taste amazing.. ya know?:loco:
