One of my main lines is leaking very slightly. Any way to repair a small leak?

So, which one is leaking? The one in the middle, or the one with the pressure coupling on it? That's your septic drain line, right?

3" copper for DWV, what the fuck?

how old is your house? that is your house right?

looks to me like your best bet would be to have it re-soldered
dont look like you hafe room to get another fernco on there

I'm thinking his house must be old as hell to have copper drains like that in it. Either that or the person that had it built was :loco:

what you got there is really strange. i have never seen copper used for DWV (drain, waste & vent) must be a midwest thing. its also strange that it would start leaking, because DWV lines have no pressure on them.

Honestly though, if you think I need to get a plumber, I'll do it. I'm many things handy, but a plumber I am not.

I fixed leaking pipe by wrapping it in this plumbers leak tape and then sealing that with jb weld. not sure if that would work but it did for me.

So why not bring your ass over here and do that?

I always forget you know how to fix plumbing.
