If so I recommend this one, badass mouse after having been through three shitty USB wireless mouses before it.

this is nice for a laptop. dont need a mouse pad, or even a flat surface.

I have this Amazon.com: Logitech LX7 Cordless Optical Mouse - Dark Blue ( 931395-0403 ): Electronics
Very happy with it, Bought it on Boxing day and still on the original batteries. It works good on all surfaces I've tried it and has good range.

I have a cheap Logitech wireless that I have used for 3 years now with my laptops. I think you may just be a little too rough with your equipment.

i got a Logitech that i bought back in 02 and still works. it's one of those basic 3 button laser mouse/scroll. it's not wireless because i hate wireless mouses but the mouse has a metallic blue finish which matches my computer.

Logitech G series. All I have used since they came out. Most likely because it hasn't broke since it came out ;) Kinda heavy for a traveling mouse though. You can adjust the weights inside of it.
