I have a Razer Copperhead that is finally on the fritz, so I might be looking for a new one.

Creative HD7600L. Cheap, thumb buttons, adjustable on the fly sensitivity, and comfortable to hold. Has teflon sliders too.

yea its good. you can program different profiles and macros. but all around its a good mouse.

I might have to jump on this sale then.

My Copperhead has been double clicking when I single click. it is extremely annoying. Sometimes it won't click either, which makes browsing an extreme pain in the ass, and gaming with non automatic weapons is enough to make me want to jump off of a cliff :fyi:

I play PC when I want to play a shooter with sick graphics and gameplay.

When my friends want to game, I play on my xbox 360. Or when I want to play NHL.

Idk what these profiles are that you speak of, but I only use one setting for both gaming and BS'ing.

I've only played once since getting it, and my ping was 500 because of this piece of shit college network, so I can't tell yet lol.

I was able to register my xbox 360 so they would open more ports for it or something.

I tried registering my computer as a gaming console but they didn't accept it. Pussies.

I would seriously consider a Razer Copperhead in good condition.

So yeah...I'm not even going to point out that you're probably gaming on a Microsoft pc.

Well, Mr. Important. Buying a console fore video games is like buying an economy car for commutes to work. Sure it wont be able to render revisions to the human gnome for that really in the time you need to find that cure for cancer thats really going change the world. But its an expense that you'll only have to endure one time through its 7 year product cycle (assuming you have to have the next gee wiz bang console that teeters on the bleeding edge of necessity), has almost no maintenance costs, wont need to have a 300 dollar + upgrade or overhaul [which, by thee way is as much as the console itself] to play the next-amazing-eyecandy-shooter-at-full-tilt, will never have a compatibility issue. Not to mention it works right out of the box with your existing AV equipment and requires only that you not throw it out of a fucking window in a fit of rage when the PC user next door wont quit screaming at his friend about beta driver stability issues.

Its a very sensible choice.

It is in pretty good condition, but it will sometimes double click when I only click it once, and sometimes won't click at all when I click.

It is frustrating enough to make me buy a new mouse.

They will murder you if you download things illegally.

from what you're describing it's apparent you're just not technical enough to play games on a PC. i have a 4 year old computer that plays hl2 and doom3 on max settings. only upgrade it has had is another gig of memory and a second sata drive. and it's not just a gaming pc, i actually use it more often for downloaded high def movies.
