lol admittedly some of the songs that are commonly known as "gay" are actually extremely catchy.

I don't get the anti conform stuff though. To me it seems like the groups that try to not conform are just conforming to something else.

LOL...i couldn't agree more on the anti-conform. I was just being comical. I just am who I am. I don't try to fit in really. I love the goth/vamp kids/people who try so hard to be different but all look like each other.

I don't think it has anything to do with cool or uncool. I don't watch that show because it doesn't interest me...I have seen a few episodes. Sadly, I find entertainment with violence or comedy.

Music is big to me. I love watching people have that moment. I honestly am opposite of everyone else (more people enjoy the beginning where everyone is HORRIBLE) as I like to see that moment where it all comes together and you can actually see someone create awesome music.

I'm all for violence and comedy. For me, the best show on tv is family guy.

The music. It is all about the music man. The glamor, the rise to fame, all of that is jack shit to me. It's about the one or two times a season when someone has that moment where they literally transform before your eyes from someone with talent to someone who reaches beyond what they thought imaginable and into this new realm of talent. You basically see someone finally get their dream through music. Where else is that possible?
