it jumps around too much for me. i use the p90 cause you run faster with a smg than with an assault rifle. if i am close enough to not use the red dot i just knife them anyway.

prestige is just a ranking above your normal level ranks. all it does is show you're either good at the game or sit play wayyy too much. or in most cases a little of both. it also is a way to keep the game going.
the ranking system as you play, and earn score points will "max" out at level 70. while ranking your way up to level 70 you unlock weapons, kill streaks, challenges, etc. by level 70 will have everything open.
now if you enter Prestige, it'll reset your rank down to level 1 and reset all your completed challenges and reset all your weapons, but you will have a prestiged emblem, pretty much shows you hit level 70 and prestiged.
though with being prestiged you also unlock challenges for titles and emblems.
then you work your way back up to level 70 and do it again, and again, and again uintil you reach max prestige at level 10.. overall, you will be leveling up 700 times by the time your done.
some people don't give a shit about prestige. i kinda do.

i already have all challanges completed for single. all spec ops were done in veteran SOLO except for the 2-3 missions that were required to have 2 people to run the op..

Just give it time. You need to learn the maps and not run in the middle of areas with a ton of action. I find that it is better to take the path less traveled and try to get a good look on a high traffic area.

the m16 is a 3round burst compared to the scar which is an automatic. with 1-2 burst of an m16 it can sometimes drop a person. where as the scar may take a quarter of a clip sometimes..

Only attachment I have left for the scar is extended mag. I'm gonna get it and by then I'll have 500 kills with that. That will give me 20k exp combined. Then I'll switch up.


What is yall's secondary weapon of choice? I always have the beginning rocket launcher but only have like 12 kills with it. If I see someone shooting from a window and I can't hit them I will just shoot the rocket in the building. And the damn thing has only brought down 1 plane for me and I shoot at them all the time.

make special class for air support drops. like for instance if your using your scar, set the class with your scar and a rocket launcher, set your perks as Scavenger(so you can pick up ammo and reload if you miss), Cold blooded(so the air support won't detect you), and ninja(to be undetected by heartbeat).
now lets say you have your ground class, a scar with a pp200 secondary, and you have your anti air class which is your scar with a Stinger.
someone calls out an air support, your on your ground class, if you think you'll take out the air support cause no one else is gonna do it just set yourself to switch classes from ground to anti air, go out kill kill w/e untill you die, you respawn with anti air, switch to your secondary and shoot them down, as soon as the air support is down go back and set you class back to ground. switch to your scar and go kill kill kill untill you die again, when you die your back onto ground support.

try to remember this,
Harrier(plane) takes 1 rocket
Attack helicopter takes 1 rocket
Pave low takes 2 rockets, one will always miss the second will take down
Chopper gunner takes 2 rockets, one will always miss the second will take down
AC130 takes 3 rockets, first 2 always miss and third will take down, the Javelin cannot lock onto the AC130

oh, and a Harrier plane CAN take out choppers.. the harrier will shoot missles at helicopters that are out.

yes, but their radar goes sketchy when they are nearby, so if i'm running around, and all of a sudden i go into some building space and my shit goes fuzzy w/o a couner UAV it clearly says someones nearby

Another POS thing I've noticed (360 & PS3) is sometimes if you're playing against a 'clan' of people in Team Deathmatch or Domination the game will lag then you die. And it will show you running, stopping, then dieing from a cross map sniper shot; but you never stopped running. It was just well placed lag.

That and nukes are getting really fuck all annoying. I was in a domination match and the score was 80 to 20 my team winning and we got nuked and lost. FUCK! One guy had 30 something kills. The next guy had 7, the highest on our team was 9. How is that possible?

the shoot/die/nokillcam shoot are probably lag spikes or something. i've never had that issue. i've had the i've put half a clip into you and i get 2 shotted and die constantly. nothing i can do about it, happened on cod4 too..

the thing when you get into a match and your team just lags to all hell then next thing your dead, is cause they are using lag switches.. people who use tem are total noobs and have to rely on shit in order to get kills or even win. next time that comes around just leave.

as for nukes, nukes happen. one of the biggest things to prevent nukes is to take down the air support, which 90% of teams don't do cause all they can think about are getting kills and not being the "team Player". take down their air support, and teir looking at having to kill one by one their way up to 25.
the one thing you also have to look for is repetitive kills/nuke boosters. what they do is setup 2 people, one on each team and meet in an area that nobody really goes to, one will set a tactical insert infront of the other to die, the person getting the kills is the one going for the nuke. so all they gotta do is go for a number of kills call in their air support and they get nukes.. i call in nukes all the time because no one wants to take out the air support.
to know if someones nuke boosting just look at the kill/death chart in game. if the person with a lets say 11/0 streak is on the other team while you have a teamate that's 0/11 then it's clear he's boosting. also look at the kills that go up on the HUD, if you see constant headshots from the same person their boosting, if you see constant knifing from the same person their boosting. just press start to see the full map, and see where the 1 guy isn't moving in some corner. go to that location and drop a grenade. should end the boosters streak.
but overall, be the "team player" set yourself up with a anti air class. if someone pulls out air support, take it down. running around like chickens is just going to get them closer to a nuke.

SO FUCKING THIS. I swear I'd have at least a 1.0 ratio instead of a .55 if it wasn't for that. I noticed that shit the first day I played. I thought people took Resistance 2 serious. Hell I rarely get into a match with less than half the people not prestiged at least 2 or 3 levels.

I've caught people 'boosting' and try to fuck them up whenever I can. Happens a lot on certain maps. I usually leave the lobby and find a new one. But, more and more people are doing this shit. Why people have to cheat is beyond me. Little penis I guess. Oh and I do have a Anti-Air custom class I made since sometimes you never get air and sometimes you'll have 3 at once. I just unlocked the Stinger which makes shooting down flying objects easier. I'll even take out drones if I have the chance.

As for mics, I fucking hate them. 1 out of 10 games people will use them constructively so I typically just mute everyone since I use sound to tell if someone is tracking me or if someone is around a corner or something.

I use the bluetooth headset by PS3. It was $50. I had to turn the mic sensitivity down to 2 or else it was picking up noises in the room and even off the TV. I like it a lot but it hurts my ear after a while.

Not many nuke boosters on 360, or not on ground war for the most part. The mic is a need for me when playing as it's nice to get on a team and actually use teamwork and help others out.
The funny thing is though that nuke boosting doesn't really earn mch Xp.
One thing that it only really helps on is getting your 10 nuke emblem.
