This is pretty much brand new. This was going to be the second sub I used in my ht set up but one was enough. This thing can get super loud and sounds absolutely perfect. It has the room eq system which ill calibrate the sub to your room no matter where you set it. It also has digital preset settings like, movies, games, music, night, and of course phase control. This was only tested and turned on for a few minutes. Comes with remote control and if you have the harmony universal remotes those control this as well. These go for around 600 on amazon and onecall and such. Will also come with the monster cable 800 subwoofer cable and splitter for thos that don't have lfe. Looking for 325 plus shipping. I can ship anytime and if course will insure it for you.

That's retarded. Why would you want to adjust your sub every time you swapped from movie to sports or something?
That's retarded. Why would you want to adjust your sub every time you swapped from movie to sports or something?
Because different inputs can have different levels. For instance, the cable box may not have the same level of output as the HTPC (if you are ballin like we are), or you may want the bass turned up for movies and down the commentators booming voices on sports.
Seems good in theory, but I wouldnt neccisarily want to have to deal with it every day...

put in a blu ray and leave it on like music or something and it will shake shit off the walls. this way you can dial in sub w/o changing reciever settings.

But isn't that what the controls are for on the receiver???

I leave it set on about 40 and movies for everything and thats good enough for me. If I have a party at the house and want to turn it up I have the option.

most reciever settings don't have precise control like this. but really once you calibrate it with the mic its perfect.
But isn't that what the controls are for on the receiver???
More or less, a little more adjustment is never gonna hurt though...
Most of it should just be in the volume, especially if you are running digital audio from your sources(since they should just be straight otu into the receivers processor), but like I said, sometimes you may want more bass, other times less.

you have speaker level inputs/outputs, rca input/output, lfe input. Crossover, standy switch which you can adjust to have the sub go to sleep mode when the reciever is off.

Inputs and outputs, looks like you can use it as a pass through, before the audio goes to your reciever, or for a pre-out to go to another amplifier.

Sounds fucking complicated bro.

So basically, for surround? Less wires and shit to drag back to the receiver?
