I have been reading doing squats and lateral side raises with dumbells helps increase testosterone? Are there more exercises that can help with this, what about foods. Do I have to give up sex/masturbating?

actually squats do help with test levels. I have always did chest the day after squats because the theory has always been that your test levels are the highest the day after legs. Also check out a supplement called ZMA. It will help you sleep as well and it contains Zinc just like jamesypoo just said.

Tribulus does the trick and is cheap from puritan.com

never thought tribulus did anything. Sadly they banned prehormones like 1-ad and such back in 04 when the fda put the hammer down on the supplement world because of the deaths they thought were related to ephedra.

I've had good luck with it. Adds weight makes you pretty horny. You have to build it up. I know it upsets my hormones because things make me emotional that didn't in the past.

I was taking it backin 06 when I was on deployment. I remember the day I got home, I took 2 pills and I don't think my wife walked right for a week lol. So yes it does make you horny.

I did deadlifts and squats yesterday, and did chest today.

I felt like a boss because I moved up weight on flat and incline. Not sure if the leg day had anything to do with it though lol

I did heavy normal deadlifts for the first time in months early last week. had been doing stiff legged deads. I swear my middle/lower back was sore for 3-4 days. Whew.

To keep it simple. Squat, and you will be fine with what exercises boost test.

Can I ask why? Should I be too tired from squatting to dead lift or is it just bad news to do them both on the same day? :hide:

from some quick reading, it seems like this is the case, but if I'm not trying to set any lifting records, would it really hurt that much to do a little less weight on one exercise as long as I am still getting close to failure?

I researched this a while back and there's some things you can do to increase your test level, but you also gotta watch what you're doing that will lower your natural testosterone levels.

Any compound exercises will help increase test levels. eg. squats, deadlifts, push-ups, pull-ups

Having sex/masturbating often will help, but not on a daily basis. Also, don't have sex/masturbate too close to when you workout, about 4 hours before or after.

Getting good fat into your diet is vital. Don't starve yourself. Diet is the most important part of working out. Nuts and fish have the best sources of fat you want. (Fish oil supplements)

Get a good amount of sleep, about 6-8 hours. Wherever you feel most rested and comfortable at.

Don't binge drink. If you have the self control, just don't drink at all.
