Well, DH shows us his buff pics but everytime i hear him about getting taco bell or arbys and stuff... how you getting these results without a good diet? or you just got certain days where you eat fast food or you just got a good metabolism?

You eat 21 meals a week (42 if you rock a strict diet), eating 1-2 shit meals a week is not going to hurt you much plus he has age on his side still.
Plus I think he does a shitload of working out

Last spring/summer was my first serious cut. And when I mean serious, I mean counting calories and counting protein and even weighing my food. I have nutrition labels memorized in my head. Only fast food I ate was snack wraps from McDonalds, grilled chicken sandwiches, or maybe a roast beef from arbys or something. Cheat meal once every week or so.
The past 5 months I have been try to gain a few more pounds and get my strength back up. I didn't watch my diet, didn't eat clean at all, and drank a lot. I look nothing like I did in the photos of me this summer. My strength went right back up to pretty much an all time high and I do believe I packed on a few more pounds of muscle I probably lost while cutting.
Starting January 6 I am going to start cutting again. Chose that date because that is when school starts back for me and I am back into a routine schedule. No more junk food/drinking/ etc. I am going to get SHREDDED this summer :fyi:

I would say, excluding Junior and Tapout, DH has the most strict eating habits around. He just knows what to eat and when he can afford not to eat healthy things. Tapout may even be 3rd to DH atm.
I need to get some eating information from DH actually here in the near future.

Another word of advice, cook IN BULK!
I will cook a shit ton of rice and chicken early in the week. Enough for 4 or 5 meals. Very helpful when your trying to get in 5 solid meals a day.

Nice, do you use fitday? Weighing and counting calories really isn't that bad after you do it for awhile. It becomes a second nature. What macro nutrient percentages and caloric count do you use while cutting?
I'm actually excited to start cutting after my power lifting competition, is that weird? lol
I'm clean bulking right now at 5,000-6,000 calories a day up 15lbs and I'm still pretty lean.

Found a pretty sweet app.. in the android market where you can scan any food barcode and it will come up with item and nutrition label.. thought it was pretty sweet when keep tracking of your cals

Never even heard of fitday. And nah, it took me about 3 weeks to quit trying to count calories and worrying myself over it when I started back bulking. When cutting I only pay attention to calories and protein. I am not taking it any more serious than that. Its going to start out at 2,600 calories/day this time and may drop it 100 calories each month. Protein stays at 200g+/day.
And no, its not weird. I am excited to start cutting again too. I like the cutting lifestyle. I am more disciplined in everything. I don't drink (where I get in trouble), I do better in school, and in general just feel better overall. Its weird. lol
If I tried bulking with 5,000-6,000 calories a day i'd be a major fatass. I probably was around 3,200 a day on average and 5,000 on days I drank the past 5 months. ANd I went from 176 to 200pounds. I put on weight way too easy. Of course shedding it for me seems to be rather easy also. Its all in the discipline.
I will make a log this time...GOnna be embarrassed to post the now pics, but it will be impressive when its finished.

Shit dude, I'm no better. I'm 6'0" and 145 pounds. I'll eat like a mofo too. I can eat pasta pretty much every day of the week. They did that BMI on me back in my senior year of college and IIRC I was under 7%.
I suppose I just have a crazy fast metabolism.
Haven't gained any weight since 2001. I would honestly like to gain some weight and start working out again because I don't like being as skinny as I am.

At the start of my cut I don't even count calories just protein. But then when I get down to around 10% the fun starts and I set up specific caloric range and macro nutrient percentages.
Check out fitday.com. It gives you your macronutrient breakdown in a pie chart and percentages and counts your calories. Very useful website and its free.

Yeah, that is a fucked up question but a friend has a disorder which means if he doesn't hit around 4,000 calories, his body attacks itself and he pisses root beer.

Dude, 2,600 CLEAN calories is a LOT of food. More than you can imagine. When I started back bulking I was struggling to ingest 3,400 or so clean calories each day.

So far I'm up 14lbs at 184 from 170. I'm bulking till my competition in march or 190 whichever comes first. Then at the comp I must weigh at 181 or lower. At first bulking was easy then I hit 180 and I had to up cals a lot I responded well to adding more fat to my diet than carbs.
When I bulk I still eat healthy. Dirtiest I get is chocolate milk and ice cream for the protein shakes.

No, that's not everyday. I was just giving you a McDonald's example of how to get 6K calories in one meal.
For instance tonight at dinner. Box of noodles, 1k calories. 2 grilled chicken breasts, probably 300-400 calories. Then tonight, in another hour or two, I'll eat at least half of a large bag of chips, which is 900 calories, and maybe a soda or two at 110 calories each. If I eat the whole bag, it's 1700 some calories. Right there I'm sitting at 2200, unless I eat the whole bag, then it goes up to 3k or so calories. And that's not counting my other two meals, or afternoon snacks. :grin3:

haha i saw, its crazy how cut you can be and just in a few months how much weight fast food adds. ive been eating clean sense the 1st and feel 100x better when working out
