So winter is about half done roughly and I am at 222lbs. Goal weight of 225 is so close now, I should see it and sustain in the next week or so. Which means a couple weeks of my max weight and I will start to cut.
Deerhunters thread inspired me to post up some "fluffy" pictures of myself now so I can show me cutting back down. Wife is making homemade granola chunks tonight and I'll post up how to do it. It's easy, cheap and you can control what goes in....hard to beat that.
So stats as of today are 222lbs 14.75% body fat and I wanna say a 32BMI, I do not really pay attention to it, but it does take it and I watch the numbers.
Anyone not into fitness, BMI may help you. Those of us that are lifting or athletic, its not really important. Its for average body styles.
So here is me. This is as bad as it gets with fat

Had a pretty good workout today and was doing bench at X3 for heavy lifts. Got to 335X3 (was about my 6th set or so) So strength is there, I plan to use DH's cut plan to retain as much muscle as possible. If you haven't seen his thread, find it...if you are thinking about cutting down, his way WORKS.

Whey protein= fast absorbing = good for before and after workouts

There is only one way to get protein in a powder form and that is milk. And Whey is milk dummy. I don't care what you 'specialists' have convinced yourself. You can't fucking change chemistry no matter how strong you are. You are pissing your money away for pretty labels. All of you.

Spent ~540 dollars on groceries today and I'll post up those pics of all the food tomorrow sometime.
Starting off with 1 pill twice a day. So 20mg E 200mg C each pill. I'll bump up to 2 in a week or two and hold that.
My wife and I have been cooking all night. Lots of longgrain rice, chicken breasts, potato etc.

I always take it slow the first few weeks on it. Both times I almost had to quit a workout b/c I thought I was going to faint.
And yeah I figured you would after the SX. I reckon the side effects really only hit you the first time you take stuff like that. I didn't lose much of my appetite this time compared to last.
You will start seeing results in a couple weeks. You can't really go by the scale though. I figured that out real quick.

Tell me about it! Today I lifted like a little girl LOL
Each day I'm taking in ~3900 calories.
Hey Justin, I just replied to your text. Your body is detoxing right now, yes, and the first week you usually drop a fair bit of weight because of this. 7-10 lbs. the first week is high, but not uncommon. You're most likely tired because of this weight loss. bodies not used to it. Your joints have loss some fat and water as well, so they don't have as much lubrication in them. Hence why you may not have been pushing as much as normal. Once your body levels out after this first week or two, you'll be fine again. Keep with it and we'll have you running at peak performance in no time!

ahhh, so a cutting cycle causes your joints to get sore? I've been wondering why they've been hurting me so bad lately... my damn knees and elbows are killing....

Ya, you're taking lubrication out of them, same thing as running your vehicle without oil.

so my fishoil and flaxseed oil should still be continued even though I'm not lifting as heavy as I was? my joints are still basically under stress?

That's why it is so important to make sure you drink as much water as possible, I make my male clients drink 2-3 gallons of water a day when getting ready for a show.
You can keep taking your fish oil and flaxseed, just make sure to take them out at least two weeks before your contest. I take all supplements out of my diet when I start cutting 16 weeks out. I'm just old school that way. The less variables you put in your body the less chance of something preventing you from looking your best. When you get to 6-7% BF and under, the slightest changes in the body are 100 times more noticable.

I figured as much. My body is like WTF ha ha ha. I'll keep going strong. Yesterday was just scary because I felt like I had the flu and didn't want to get up.

I have a bit of joint trouble in my right elbow, but everything else is perfect. I'm only taking fish oil, but will continue on it because I've always had great luck. I need to copy my blood pressure to you because it significantly dropped. Who knew not taking down all that salt would make me better ha ha ha

I doomed myself, no question. I'm missing a couple things but I want heavy protein and lower carbs....i ran myself out of energy

for instance I was 40% carbs and 60% protein for some reason yesterday...maybe I messed up the calcs a bit, but that would explain me running out of all forms of fuel.

Starting week 3. This cut is getting a bit easier. I can't follow it to a T, so I know I wont see the results that could happen (business schedule and such makes it hard) but I will not cheat on the diet! The worst I've done is a few pieces of fruit for a smoothie. Keeping the calories right is easier during the week than it is during the weekend because of sleep schedule etc. Still, results are showing.
At 214 this morning, body fat is lowest it has been since early November (can't recall exact number atm)
Here are some pics

So this has been delayed as I am well beyond swamped at work. I continue to follow my diet to the T. The only real cheats I've allowed myself has been a glass of wine last Saturday.
My strength has returned. I am not even close to my 385 bench at this point (I doubt my joints could support the weight) but I can control 315 without assistance for 3-5.
Weight was at 208 this morning. I'll get some pictures up this weekend.
Going to Arnold Expo!!! WOOOT Always a motivator too with all the buff people LOL.
I've also found that the food costs much LESS after the initial start-up than my old diet. I eat often, but really less food and better food.

Everything I'm to post has no salt, no butter, ratio is 35% protein and 55% carbs (were applicable).
Looking at the pics, I did have a cup of fruit recently which is technology a cheat for me too.

not a quish, it was actually a friatta?? made with egg beaters, chicken breast and low fat or no fat cheese.
Yeah, you do get some salt from your foods, but do not put any additional.

Man, every time I type in this, I realize I need to do more pics. My weight has been staying somewhat stable and I continue to see losses. I'm 206.5 this morning. Meals have been good (staying on plan) however I have had a few minor cheats. Nothing horrible but a glass of wine here and there and some fruit (not horrible, but still not on my diet plan).
Work is still killing me, so I'm not getting as much gym time. I've been trying to increase my cardio and do some night walks with the family too.
Here are some foods I've had recently.
BBQ steak and corn (rice was on the side not on plate yet)
http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l156/sweets4ever48/2010Cutting/2abf3009.jpg
Wife made another chicken (or 2)

This looks really unhealthy but minus the fruit it is basically just creme cheese (fat free) wheat crust pizza crust and natural peanut butter.
