I agree with blackening it.. I have never tried anything but cod/haddock, shrimp and lobster so I am going to try and venture out some more and try a few new things as fish once a week would give me a nice break from chicken.

Well, I baked it instead of grilling it. Left it just a tad uncooked on the thicker fillets. Turned out perfect

Better than tuna. If you can get it fresh, do so. But frozen isn't horrible as long as it's not from a box.
It's somewhat similar to tuna. It's not as tender as most other fish, giving it a wonderful texture.

As far as that recipe goes though, don't use as much lemon, and more honey.

I'm really digging the Nom-Nom section of the forum. Who doesn't want a little culinary advice every now and again :D

marinate it in butter/salt/pepper/garlic and a splash of lemon. Let it sit in the marinate for a few hours then cook it on a george foreman. The lemon is the key.

if you don't have a foreman, use a skillet

The Worcestershire sauce and honey in that other recipe definitely did not hurt at all. I almost left out the lemon...It was nom-nom

Try the barramundi recipe I posted with it. It should transfer to Mahi well. It is basically a blacked with a lowfat yogurt sauce to go with it.
