i have a regular netbook. if i get a netflix accouint, is there a way i can stream movies from my comp to my tv??

most lcd's have a dvi port....vga to dvi, at least you can connect it

There are tons of convertors. Worst-case scenario you can do VGA--->DVI--->HDMI

Nvm. They make a VGA--->HDMI adapter, no need for the DVI in between.

If you can use the VGA to VGA then there would be no benefit to convert it to HDMI.
