None of those tiny ones. For general use, no uber nerd accessories needed.

Go.

i feel the same way, but when you're traveling and using a laptop its nice to be able to just pull something out of your bag and press a button instead of fumbling with unwrapping a cable, plugging it in, taking it out, wrapping it back up, placing it in the bag so theres not a huge fucking lump... all while you're in a bit of a hurry in an airport or some place like that.

i will say too, that having a mouse with a browser forward and backward button near where your thumb is... is very nice. i miss that feature from my logitech mx900... but absolutely nothing else.

I still use a corded one on my desktop just because I don't wat to have to switch out the battery every month or so.

I guess what I need to try is some type of rechargeable BT mouse for my desktop, would be nice having the back button and no wire.

Is it pretty sensitive and do you need to point it directly at the base to get a signal?

All the ones I have had other than this MS one were just normal RF signal or whatever so with a few of them were pretty much impossible to use unless the front of the mouse was pointed directly at the little antenna thing.

03-30-2010, 03:14 AM
Never had to point. Used it combined with a BT keyboard for my HTPC at a distance of 15ft. I also broke my laptop screen and used it as my porn and foruming PC via 32" Vizio for a while. A full charge would last all day. Set it on charge every night and you had no problems.

I honestly like both of those. I need to make sure this lappy has a BT hub in it though, couldn't find anything smaller than a #2 at midnight... if I don't I'll just get an express slot BT deal off eGay. I've never messed with BT on it.

Best mouse I've ever had.

Compact, but not too small, can charge via USB (charger is also a 1bg thumbdrive, cord attaches to mouse magnetically), has five buttons- I set the two side buttons for forward/backwards on my browser, love this mouse. Can switch between USB wireless and BT.

Not BT I know, but I've had a Logitech LX-7 for a year and a half now, just had to replace hte batteries for the first time a couple weeks ago. The only thin I don't like about it is the usb dongle is about 2" long.... gives me size envy.
