Well they do have the Nexus One. The Nexus Two is coming around the corner. I don't know an ETA yet. Rumor has it that Motorola may be picking this one up.

I've never understood this comment. I do not have an iphone nor will I ever but how does one multi-functional device with a constant supply of improvements and applications arriving on a daily basis "kill" or beat another phone that has similar qualities? Minus of course, the material it is created out of?

And because this is an Android phone and Sprint is a bunch of shitdicks, this will not work on a SERO plan.

I'm stuck getting dummy phones for fucks sake.

Well, you're right about "one multi-functional device with a constant supply of improvements and applications arriving on a daily basis "kill" or beat another phone that has similar qualities?"

..but I think it's all about doing it better than the other phone.

You guys DO realize that we're all interwebbers & most people don't even pay attention to this type of shit..

How can you define doing it better though? Each application is only as good as the person in control. We can all use windows on an exact same machine running every single program to the exact version and one person will still utilize it more than another.

It comes down to understanding of each part of the software. You can compare response time and battery life, etc. Those are things you can look at but honestly even those are not really constants because sometimes things get held up, sometimes the battery doesn't work as long as it normally does (because things got held up).

At home, I use a netbook and when my mom comes to visit she brings her laptop. It is roughly 3X faster in every way yet I do more on my netbook per hour than she does per day.

Yes, hardware on some of the latest and greatest far outpace the iphone, however the number of applications still make the iphone a contender in every way. This coming from someone who doesn't jump on the iphone bandwagon even.

I agree with this in every way. The thing that is attractive about the Evo, however, is HTC's support for future development.

lol they're both damn good phones. the comparisons are just for people who view inanimate objects as a reflection of themselves.
