I could use the light version...but I don't like it as well. I'm trying out songbird, but I like the playlist format of Winamp.

Nevermind...Fuck that. I just found an add-on to SongBird that shows a 'Now Playing' list just like Winamp. I may be quite happy with it after all

Hopefully 5.55 crashes a little less. I think I was using 3.xx up till now.

The last version I used was 2.0... it wasn't broke, no need to fix it. :wat:

Anyway to get this to update the codecs needed to play video as good as VLC? I prefer the Winamp layout but it won't play any of my movies :(

I'm not sure. But you probably can. VLC has great quality. Although the brightness is always high on mine. It still does a better job than DiVX player. Crashes less, too.

I've been a member of Demonoid for years now. I like it for archive purposes. Though, I'll admit I haven't downloaded anything from it lately... but I used to get as much as 30 kb/s... then I went to PirateBay, got 150kb/s, now at TorrentLeech I get 350-600kb/s, depending if my internet is willing to cooperate.

This. They keep adding stuff. Much like Azureus (AKA Vuze now), they tried to make it into a media player... I don't want a fucking media player. I want a torrent downloader. Now I'm a uTorrent fanboi.

What do you prefer that's of the same quality or better?

Go with Foobar2000. Completely customizable and plays anything.
