New MP3 Player

I historically have gone with Creative's products, but they just don't seem to be able to cut it anymore these days.

I currently have 28gb of music. I would like an mp3 player would will hold at least twice that on a hard drive...OR approximately that much on a flash memory. Compatibility is a huge plus. Compact size is a plus as well. What do I need to be looking at?

I approve. Though the EVO is almost the same size and does the same thing. If I'm going to get a dedicated device, I'd at least go with the Archos 7.

I had one too. I didn't have to deal with CS so I can't comment on that but the device was pretty nice aside from it being slow and a shitty touch screen. New one should be a lot better now.

Buddy loves his Zune though I'm not sure how well HU integration is with them if that's a factor for you.

That would be a strong plus, but not a must, if Zune is not intergrated yet. With it being a Window based product, it's only a matter of time really.

I've been rocking my Zune brick for 2.5 years now. It's durable as hell. I've kept it in my car most of the time, which means its seen 120 degree heat and 10 degree col inside the car, and I've yet to have a problem with it. Fantastic MP3 player. If you want something that just plays music, go find a Zune 80gb. Should be able to find one on the cheap nowadays.

edit: $120 used on Amazon for a good one. A new one will run you $230.
