[I really need to be more informed about the serious business on phones. The topic seems so emotional and I feel left out being clueless. All I know is my phone makes calls great and can even text now and I didn't pay a dime for it upfront. All I know is that Microsoft kicks so much ass on the PC that it seems natural that they would have an equally kick ass OS for mobile too. I would buy on that alone. Does Dell carry any Windows mobile phones?]

Dell used to carry WM phones, but have recently switched to Android. Look at the Dell Mini 5 a.k.a. Streak as a new addition to their line up. WM7 is quickly becoming a failure.

Go HTC. They're pretty much the only ones supporting WM. And they're barely doing that.
