I have been using it for a long time, and I see no problem. Users still seed old ass torrents and it is easy to keep a good ratio.

Haven't used demonoid for awhile. I have yet to have any issues though. I have a GREAT ratio too.

Unfortunately, the one that I like the most, I have the worst ratio on :( Not in danger of being banned anymore, but still nowhere near where I'd like it to be...yet...

I have no problems keeping over a 2. It isn't impossible, you just need to stop being a filthy fucking leecher.

Ha, it's a backup place for me.

As for your worst ratio, didn't you get in on that SIX DAY free leech a little while back? I developed a nice little cushion with that, also, always hit up the freeleech staff picks early and seed those. Should help easily...

I would download something I was looking for and after several days, I still didn't upload shit. Thats what happens when you have 43 seeders and 2 leachers at a time. The only thing that worked for me is to download ONE movie from one of the popular movie packs and seed it. Then I thought, Fuck this, why would I jump through hoops at ST when I can easily maintain a good ratio at demonoid?

Efforts against file sharing

It has also commenced a series of lawsuits against individuals suspected of file sharing, notably college students and parents of file sharing children. As of late 2008 they have announced they will stop their lawsuits and instead are attempting to work with ISPs who will use a three strike warning system for file sharing, and upon the third strike will cut off internet service all together. I've actually gotten one virus. That was my fault however. Downloaded a sketchy looking torrent because I needed the program....
