Which one would help my voltage system out more? My amp is so clip happy it's pissing me off I can't crank my shit without it clipping.

Questions:
1. How big is your amp (fuse rating.. if any, watts rms)
2. Is your bass boost ALL on 0?
3. Are you overgained?
4. Are your bass/subwoofer settings on your headunit @ 0?

My bass boost is all the way off. Gain is at about 75%. HU setting are at 0 or -. Amp is 2200rms but I would like to add more.

Just start with a second larger battery. Don't believe those myths about people saying adding more batts will kill the alt cause most likely it won't.
After your second battery if you see that there still needs to be improvement on the electrical then get a higher output alt.
I started off with a redtop as a second batt for a while then sold that and got a kin2400. Then later on as I got bigger powa amps I got a 180a alt. Holds up the system very well.
