Good HU?

Just got my truck and here in a few short weeks i wanna get a decent HU.. i had a pioneer years ago that had the different live animations which was pretty cool until i left my door unlocked and someone ripped it out along with my whole console... is there anything of that nature anymore within 200-300 range?

i'm trying to find the one i had like 5 years ago.. it was a pioneer deh 7600mp all these different models though, whats the difference in say that 7600 model compared to a newer model.. like the 7600 because of the bigger screen

you're looking for something flashy.. when in all reality flashy is never the best option. i liked my Pioneer 7800 cuz it had cool little animations & shit.. but then when I switched to my 880, I realized what I'd been missing. functionality > purty when it comes to headunits.

In good condition they'll go for $300+ EASY. Not so good condition = $150-200. Mine is in great condition, just a small bit of wear on the knobs.. can't tell unless you look up close though. No screen damage.

Are you looking for sq or bling? What kind of truck to you have? The reason I ask is because some single din units look like shit in a full size truck. I also had an 880 which was an amazing unit, totaled my car, had kids and got a truck so I sold it since I don't drive that much anymore.

Actually both, i want it to sound good but i always loved the look of the animations at night in the car when i had my old one.. i'm drivin a ford explorer right now.

I was going to recommend and Pioneer Avic D3, they are pretty cheap now a days but they don't have the animated screens and all that jazz.

They actually make some clever double din radio covers that look like nothing is there when applied.

i gotta kenwood x-kdc793. its the shit!! it eats all the pioneers i had. and please, don't get a old ass deh-7500. the little graphics are nice, but ur only getting radio and cd's. you wanna hook up a flash drive, ipod or sat radio, ur fucked!!
