Should I run my comps bi-amp or active. They are bridged right now (230w) off my big belle. Not opposed to keeping it this way but I cannot use time alignment with my current setup.

New sub? 12" W6 in a sealed box tends to get drowned out by my comps, although I really like the way it sounds. Only running at 2ohm. I have more power at my disposal, but not enough money for extensive electrical upgrades. I would want another SQ oriented sub either way.

Active, no question.

That's how it's supposed to work...

Should be able to run fully active with my alpine cda-9835?

Don't get me wrong. I like the sound from my sub. It can just be underwhelming with some songs.

2-way + sub, yes.

If you can distinctly hear the sub, you're doing it wrong...

Ya knew what I meant. Time to do some research I suppose.

UNLESS.... you have been riding around for almost a year without them. I can pick out a sub in a hot minute right now lol
