Decent camera though. I almost got that before I got the HMC150. I really couldn't deal with the tapes though.

Aye, the guy who had me purchase it prefers the tapes :shrug:

All I know is 1. it was expensive and 2. it was on this super long backorder because of this special part that is made in only one place.

Its very smoooooth...we cannot figure out the xlr audio into our system though ha

AVCHD > HDV

Aside from better compression, I don't have to wait around for video to transfer in real time. HDV is dead.

Well, it was. Not sure if it is now. We had to wait weeks and weeks and the guy had orders already lined up for the thing.
