I am looking for the easiest way to setup two webcams for two users who are not the most 'computer friendly' if you know what I mean.

I bought them some shitty webcams and thought I could setup videoconferencing through AIM but I guess that was just something I have thought for all these years even though they don't.

I know there is Skype but I am not thinking anything that complicated would be good for a couple of 80+ old users.

I was really depending on the OLD very basic AIM version to support it as it was a very easy layout but it ain't happening and everything else I look at seems to be a full package with more than they will ever need..

Do ICQ, Yahoo or MSN messangers support this? I looked quickly through my pidgin setup and did not see anything for video.

The hell is complicated about Skype? You set it and forget it. All they need to do is to click the Green button and po0f, they are connected.

I don't think Skype is complicated at all.

I am trying to teach my dad how to use it and its not hard but he still cant figure out to type in the little box for an IM haven't even tried to get him to answer the call yet.

We used to have one of those. But it fucking squeaked. I told my Mom I couldn't take it anymore, so one day, I was like, "AGH! MAKE IT STOP!" and I just threw it out of my window. 3 stories to the ground. Unfortunately there were no cars for it to land on.

I used them in 9th grade to video chat with my at-the-time girlfriend. I also used it for teh cybz. Well, she was just doing naughty stuff and I had myself, a friend, and my brother watching and LOLing.
