100 and 150 watts. harsh tweeter that breaks up easily, muddy mid. glad i didnt drop 500 on the xs65 like i planned to. wonder how my tempo 6 tweets would sound on the id xover with some mids off PE. hmmmmmm
anyone know the ctx65cs xover point?

Dunno, but passive consider a lot more than just points and slopes in their design. Go fucking active already and STFU.

Too many details bro.
Why dont you start by telling us where the two are now and then maybe someone might suggest something to you. For example I might suggest you stick the third one straight up yo ass dumfuk.

that kinda hurt dick.
but besides that, the point of that post was that i dont have room for another amp. im not asking for suggestions. in fact, i never even brought up running anything active, thats not my goal.
my goal is to remove the tweets and mids, and gently place them in the garbage where they belong, then find mids from somewhere to replace them that will work with the id xover. if i cant go that route, then maybe ill just pull the pro60's from my exploder and pop them in here, but then i have nothing in the ex, so maybe ill just dump the id's in all their $190 china glory and get something more worthwhile.

id buy a 5 channel amp but im nervous. there is so much in the design of a xover besides points and slopes that im scared i might buy an amp not designed for my mids.
id prefer to keep the nasa designed xovers in the system somehow.

Now you are just spouting retarded comebacks that make zero sense. Go choke on a nugget, fag.
Go ahead and do it your way then. I wish you luck in finding another combo to work well with those XOs. I am sure you can find an acceptable match. I would personally sell the whole damn ID set though and try another set if you don't want to switch up to active.

It's hard to set active crossovers to the points and slopes that are listed on a set of passive crossovers?

Sure, but nothing that can't be handled by a competent electronic one...and a lot of the impedance/phase issues you get with high-level filters aren't problems when you do the filtering at line level.
